This week, Instagram introduced Videos to its popular social network. It may seem like a trivial addition, but considering how widely-used Instagram is video-sharing is bound to take off. But what if you have a Windows Phone? While third-party apps work on adding support for videos, none of the clients available in the Store can do it as of this writing. So what can you do if you want to watch your friends videos, but you have a Windows Phone?
All you have to do is use the mobile site, but finding videos can be tricky. Here's the step-by-step breakdown:
- Go to Instagram.com in Internet Explorer.
- Tap on the 'Log In' button in the top-right corner.
- Enter your existing Instagram account username and password, then login.
- Find a Video on your timeline. If you tap on an image and it highlights (just like you are tapping on a link) that is an Instagram Video. See the video for a better idea of what this looks like.
Check out the quick video we did above, which should help the visual learners who might be confused about how to actually find a video to watch. Happy streaming!
